J2T: Journey2Transition
A comprehensive 11-session training program that equips educators with the knowledge and tools to build meaningful transition programming for students with disabilities.
Too many students with disabilities leave school without the skills, connections, or confidence they need for employment and independent living. J2T changes that by training your team to build transition programming that works.
Evidence-based practices
Every session is grounded in current research and aligned with state and federal transition requirements. Your team leaves with strategies that are both compliant and effective.
Practical tools and resources
J2T provides ready-to-use tools, templates, and frameworks your educators can take directly into their classrooms and IEP meetings. No theory without application.
Flexible delivery for your district
The hybrid training format combines in-person foundation sessions with virtual follow-up training, allowing your team to learn without losing weeks of instructional time.

HOW IT WORKS
An 11-session training series built for educators
J2T uses a hybrid format that starts with a strong in-person foundation and follows up with flexible virtual sessions. We will adapt the delivery to meet your district's scheduling needs.
IN PERSON
Foundation Settings
The first four sessions are delivered in person across two days, in two-hour sessions each day. These sessions build a strong foundation in transition planning and give educators hands-on practice with core concepts, tools, and frameworks.

THE J2T PROCESS
From scheduling to sustained impact
Every district is different. We adapt the J2T program to your team's size, experience level, and specific transition challenges.
01
Consult
We start with a conversation about your district's current transition programming, your team's experience level, and your goals for the training. This helps us tailor the sessions to your specific context.
02
Customize
We adapt the J2T curriculum to align with your state's transition requirements, your district's student population, and the specific skills and knowledge your educators need most.
03
Train
We deliver the 11-session training program using a hybrid format, starting with in-person foundation sessions and continuing with virtual follow-up training over the following weeks.
04
Equip
Your educators leave with practical tools, templates, and resources they can put to work immediately. No binder that sits on a shelf. Every resource is designed for direct classroom and IEP application.
05
Support
Training does not end on the last session. We provide follow-up support to help your team apply what they have learned and troubleshoot challenges as they begin implementing new transition practices.
WHY CHOOSE J2T
Built for districts ready to improve transition outcomes
Building transition programming from scratch
If your district is just starting to develop structured transition services, J2T gives your team the foundational knowledge, tools, and confidence to build programming that is compliant, student-centered, and sustainable.
Strengthening existing programming
If you have transition services in place but know they could be stronger, J2T provides evidence-based strategies and practical resources to raise the quality and consistency of your programming across the district.
Preparing for compliance and monitoring
If a state monitoring visit is on the horizon or you have received findings related to transition, J2T helps your team understand requirements and build the practices and documentation needed to demonstrate compliance.
